    The first settler to arrive in the Milford area was the Rev. Francis McCormick, a Revolutionary War soldier with a thousand acre land grant, in 1796.     Promont is a Victorian mansion circa 1865 and the former home of John M. Pattison, Ohio’s 43rd Governor. The Greater Milford Area Historical Society and the City of Milford, the exclusive poster competition sponsor, are pleased to announce the 2018 Art Affaire Poster Image Competition. The winning design will become the official representation for Art Affaire 2018, and the winning artist will receive $1000 as well as recognition through various Art Affaire marketing initiatives.

The competition accepts all forms of media submitted via IMAGE. The Historical Society will create a poster and other promotion materials, as appropriate, using the winning entry.
