    The first settler to arrive in the Milford area was the Rev. Francis McCormick, a Revolutionary War soldier with a thousand acre land grant, in 1796. 12th Annual Art Affaire


The 12th Annual Art Affaire, presented by GMAHS in association with Lykins Energy Soltuions, will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 – always the 4th Saturday in September. If you want to be on the artists’ prospects email list, let us know. We need your name, email, phone number and medium. Send to:  artaffaire@milfordhistory.net.

Art Affaire is a juried outdoor show that features art and fine craft. The emphasis is on original work, both in concept and execution, by artists working in the following mediums: basketry; clay; drawing; fiber (art & wearables); glass (blown, fused, stained); jewelry; leather; metal; mixed media (includes collage and mosaics); painting; paper art; photography; print making; sculpture; wood.

All proceeds from Art Affaire support GMAHS programming.

When:  Saturday, September 23, 2017 (11 AM – 5 PM)

Where:  Main Street, historic Milford, Ohio 45150



Complementing Art Affaire, GMAHS will host the Community Cultural Tent area where local and regional arts-related organizations can interact with visitors to explain their respective offerings. The Ohio Arts Council (OAC) helped fund this program with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
