    The first settler to arrive in the area was the Rev. Francis McCormick, a Revolutionary War soldier with a thousand acre land grant, in 1796. The 10th Annual Art Affaire is a juried show that features art and fine craft. The emphasis is on original work, both in concept and execution, by artists working in the following mediums: basketry; clay; drawing; fiber (art & wearables); glass (blown, fused, stained); jewelry; leather; metal; mixed media (includes collage and mosaics); painting; paper art; photography; print making; sculpture; wood.
