Art Affaire – 2014

The 9th Annual Art Affaire is a juried show that features art and fine craft. The emphasis is on original work, both in concept and execution, by artists working in the following mediums: basketry; clay; drawing; fiber (art & wearables); glass (blown, fused, stained); jewelry; leather; metal; mixed media (includes collage and mosaics); painting; paper art; photography; print making; sculpture; wood.


When:  Saturday, September 27, 2014 (11 AM – 5 PM)

Where:  Promont House Museum 906 Main Street – Milford, Ohio 45150

Promont House Museum is an 1865 Italianate mansion once home to the 43rd governor of Ohio, John Pattison. Visitors can stroll the beautiful, tree-shaded grounds.

Music is a highlight at each annual Art Affaire. On stage for your listening enjoyment will be the Melissa Smith Band, Clermont Chorale, Wild Carrot, and New Horizons Dixieland Band (also known as Hits and Misses)!

Food! This year’s Art Affaire will feature a variety of food options from the following local businesses:  Lehr’s Prime Market, The Bite Restaurant, and sweetFrog; with hot and cold beverage choices available from Steamin’ Joes.

Raffle and Split the Pot! A special highlight of each year’s Art Affaire is the raffle tent. Many of our participating artists donate unique art objects; and, donations from local businesses help round out a robust raffle opportunity. In addition, we will be selling tickets for Split the Pot, which will provide a great opportunity for a lucky winner to earn shopping money!

Authors! Initiated last year with much success, Art Affaire will again feature a group of local artists on hand to discuss and sign their books.

Nancy Ford Cones! In Promont, the Greater Loveland Historical Society will join us with a collection of photographs by Nancy Ford Cones, a nationally recognized photographer and longtime Loveland resident whose works were featured in magazines and publications from 1898 through the 1930′s. Exhibit and sale items will be available.

Parking is not available on the event grounds. A shuttle will loop between Art Affaire and nearby designated parking areas.
